Chagolnieya HS notch win in School Football
DHAKA, Dec. 22, 2020 (BSS)- Chagolnieya Pilot High School of Feni, came from behind, to record a 2-1 goal victory over Daudpur Multipurpose High School of Dinajpur in a final round match of the National School Football tournament held today at Outer stadium , Palton in the city.
In the first match, Muntasir Fuad struck twice in the 14th and 73rd minutes for the winners while Rafi scored the lone goal for the losers in the 8th minute of the match.
Muntasir Fuad of the winning teams was named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the match.
In the day’s second match, Bagerhat Multipurpose Collegiate School, Bagerhat edged past Suti V.M Govt. Primary High School of Tangail by a solitary goal also held at the same venue.
In the day’s match, Mirazul Islam scored the decisive goal for Bagerhat.
Kabir Hossain of Suti V.M Pilot Govt. School was named the player of the match for his brilliant performance
A total of eight school teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the final round. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals and the two top teams will play the final to be held later stage.
