A packaging factory fined in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 21, 2020 (BSS): A mobile court today fined a packaging factory TK 50,000 for manufacturing of banned polythene.
A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) led by Executive Magistrate Md. Ashraful Hoque conducted a raid at Soudia Packaging Factory at Chandlai intersection in the town and fined for violating Bangladesh Environment Conservation Act-1985.
The team seized 20 kilograms of unauthorized polythene which were later destroyed.
