3 Killed in Mymensingh road accident
MYMENSINGH, Dec 21, 2020 (BSS) – Three passengers of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw were killed and two others injured in a road accident on Netrakona-Mymensingh road in Beltoli area of the district last night.
The identities of the deceased are Monirul Islam, 15, son of Monsur Khan, Mul Haq Ali, 48, and Jahangir Alam, 32.
In-charge of Shyamganj Highway Police Nayon Das quoting locals said that the accident occurred around 9 pm when the Netrakona-bound CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction in Beltoli area on the road, leaving three persons dead on the spot.
The injured persons were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH), police said.
