DHAKA, Dec 20, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka South City Corporation has started preparing a list of companies which are operating business of explosives’chemicalsin the area under DSCC.
A total of three teams led by DSCC have started the survey work in different areas of Zone-4 from this morning.
Teams have been formed comprising DSCC Region-4 with Regional Executive Officer Md Haider Ali, Chief Revenue Officer Ariful Haque and Chief Property Officer Russell Sabrin, along with representatives from the Fire Service and Civil Defense Department and the Directorate of Explosives.
The teams will submit a report to the Cabinet on how many individuals, how many companies trade explosives in the DSCC area, the number of retailers and wholesalers, the status of licenses, the physical condition of warehouses and the type of explosives traded in general, said a press release.
