Two hundi traders held with 5 lakh US dollar in Jashore
DHAKA, Dec 20, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained two hundi traders along with 5 lakh US dollar during a drive at Sharsha upazila in Jashore district today.
The arrestees are Hridoy Mia, 20, of Chandpur and Ashraful Islam, 28, a resident of Cumilla district. A private car was also seized from their possession.
In Teknaf, BGB members in separate drives seized 2.5 lakh pieces of yaba tablets worth about Taka 7.50 crore from different areas, said a BGB press release.
