NAOGAON, Dec 20, 2020 (BSS) – Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder said here today Bangladesh has witnessed the prevalence of Covid-19 much lower than many other countries in the world due to pragmatic steps taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Bangladesh has witnessed the prevalence of Covid-19 much lower than many other countries in the world due to pragmatic steps taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said.
The food minister was speaking at a function organized by the Managing Committee of Niamatpur Upazila Health Complex in the district with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Joya Maria Pereira in the chair.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Farid Ahmed was present, among others.
Sadhan Chandra Majumder said all the hospitals across the country are being modernized for 21 century. He hoped major patients would take treatment in the country.
Earlier, the minister inaugurated the ‘Functioning of Modern Technology Programme’ at the hospital.
