BEIJING, Dec. 20, 2020 (BSS/Xinhua) – The disaster action blockbuster “The
Rescue” continued to top the Chinese box office chart with a daily box office
of 86.89 million yuan (about 13.3 million U.S. dollars) on Saturday, its
second day of hitting the big screen, according to data from the China Movie
Data Information Network.
It was followed by the American comic adaptation “Wonder Woman 1984,” which
bagged 48.16 million yuan, also on its second day of release.
Coming in third to fifth were domestic comedy “Bath Buddy,” American-made
animated film “The Croods: A New Age” and romantic fantasy “The End of
Endless Love.”
