International Migrants Day Observed in Joypurhat
JOYPURHAT, Dec 18, 2020 (BSS) – International Migrants Day-2020 was observed in the town today with the slogan ‘Reimaging Human Mobility’.
A discussion meeting was held at the Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) on the occasion in the morning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahat Mannan chaired the meeting while Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Milton Chandra Rao, district Employment and Man Power Officer Mosharrof Hossain, Executive Magistrate Sumaiya Akhter, Engineer Asif Aziz and journalist Nipendronath Mondol spoke.
District Administration and District Employment Office jointly organised the meeting.
