Destiny director gets 3-year jail in graft case
DHAKA, July 9, 2018 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today sentenced Destiny 2000
Limited director Mesbah Uddin Swapan to three-year imprisonment in a graft
case filed against him for not submitting wealth statement to the Anti-
Corruption Commission (ACC).
Judge Md Shahidul Haque of Dhaka 7th Special Judge Court passed the
order.
The court also fined Swapan Tk 5,000 and an additional three-month jail
in default.
The convict is at large since the start of the trial proceedings.
