CHATTOGRAM, Dec 17, 2020 (BSS)- A murder case was filed against 36 people, including Hefazat-e-Islam Joint Secretary General Mamunul Haque over the death of its former supreme leader Shah Ahmad Shofi.
Terming the death as planned murder Mohammad Mainuddin Ruhi, a brother-in-law of late Shah Ahmad Shofi filed a case in the court of Judicial Magistrate Shiblu Kumar Dey today against 36 people including Allama Mamunul Haque, plaintiff’s lawyer Advocate Abu Hanif told BSS.
The court took cognizance of the case and directed the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate it. It has been asked to submit the investigation report within a month.
