Jordan to take 12,000 more BD workers next year

DHAKA, Dec 17, 2020 (BSS) –Jordan’s largest garment factory ‘Classic Fashion’ will employ 12,000 more workers from Bangladesh next year.

This was disclosed by Classic Fashion Chairman and Managing Director Sanal Kumar while he paid a courtesy call on Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad MP at his latter’s office today.

Secretary to the ministry Ahmed Munirush Saleheen and Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) Managing Director Md Saiful Hassan Badal were present.

Sanal Kumar in the meeting apprised that out of 26,000 employees in his organization, 16,000 are alone rom Bangladesh and the company will employ 12,000 more workers from Bangladesh next year.

He said the merits, skillfulness, diligence and perseverance are main benchmarks for recruitment of Bangladeshi workers in Jordan.

Sanal thanked the minister and secretary of the ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment and BOESL for their sincere cooperation in recruiting Bangladeshi workers in the Jordanian garment factory.
