11 Sibir men held in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, Dec 16, 2020(BSS) – Debiganj thana police in a drive arrested 11 allegedly Sibir men from Debiganj Model School paka road area of the district today.
The arrested were identified as Al-Amin ,19, Jobaer Hasan ,19, Golam Rabbani, 19, Abdul Jalil ,20,Md, Bappi ,19, Abir Islam ,20, Al-Mamun ,22, Sakil Hossein ,19, Omor Faruk ,19, Amir Hamja ,19 and Hasibul Islam ,20. Both of them hailed in different villages in Atowary, Boda and Debiganj upazilas.
Officer-in-charge of Debiganj thana Rabiul Hasan Sarker told BSS the Sibir men brought out a procession in Debiganj on the occasion of Victory Day.
Being informed, Police rushed to the school road area and arrested them, he said. They wanted to create sabotage in the name of Victory Day procession, the OC added.
A case was filed with Debiganj police station against them.
