ARREST-HEROIN- CHAPAINAWABGANJ
One held with yaba, heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 16, 2020 (BSS) – Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 390 pieces of yaba tablets and 1.48-kg heroin from Shibganj frontier in the district yesterday evening.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Nayan Ali, 24 of Chanpur village under Shibganj upazila in the district.
BGB said acting on secret information, a patrol team of the frontier force from Chakpara border outpost raided Kakmari village under Shibganj upazila of the district around 6 pm and arrested Nayan Ali with the yaba and heroin.
Two others managed to flee, it said.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana.
A case was recorded in this connection.
