Ahsan Ullah Master V-Day Archery result on day 2
DHAKA, Dec. 15, 2020 (BSS)- Prodipto Chakma and Diya Siddique secured bronze medal beating Ruman Sana and Mehnaj Akter Monira by 5-4 set points in the recurve mixed team event of the Ahsan Ullah Master Victory Day Archery tournament held today at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium.
Archer Imdadul Haque Milon and Mosammat Eti Khatun and Abdur Rahman Alif and Beauty Roy will compete in the final of this event scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday).
In the compound mixed teamevent, Susmita Bonik and Mohammad Ashikuzzaman bagged the bronze medal beating Asif Mahmud and Shyamoly Roy by 153-149 points. Asim Kumar Das and Tania Rima, and Sohel Rana and Bonna Akter will compete in the final of this event tomorrow.
Meanwhile, recurve men’s and women’s singles, compound men’s and women’s singles events quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be held tomorrow at the same venue from 9 am.
The closing ceremony of the competition will be held tomorrow with State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell MP is expected to present as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
The tournament is being held in six events. The events are recurve men’s and women’s singles, recurve mixed teamevent, compound men’s and women’s singles and compound mixed teamevent.
