CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 15, 2020 (BSS) – A Bangabandhu mural and a killing field memorial were inaugurated in the district on Monday.
Lawmaker of women reserved seat Ferdousi Islam Jesi inaugurated the Killing Field Memorial in Chapainawabganj Swashanghat area on the bank of the river Mohananda in the town.
Chapainawabganj district administration arranged the inaugural function.
Later, the Bangabandhu mural installed in front of Chapainawabganj municipality was inaugurated by the lawmaker.
Lawmakers of Shibganj constituency Dr. Shamil Uddin Ahmed Shimul and Ferdousi Islam Jesi, former lawmaker of Chapainawabganj sadar Md. Abdul Wadud, chairman of Chapainawabganj Zilla Parishad and president of the district unit of Awami League Moinuddin Mondol, Deputy Commissioner Monzurul Hafiz, Bir Muktijoddha, vice president of the district unit of AL Md. Ruhul Amin and mayor of Chapainawabganj Municipality Md. Nazrul Islam were present in the inaugural functions.
