Nat’l programmes taken to observe Martyred Intellectuals Day tomorrow
DHAKA, Dec 13, 2020 (BSS) – The national programmes have been adopted to
observe the Martyred Intellectuals Day tomorrow with due dignity.
On the day, the President and the Prime Minister will place wreaths at 7.05
am and 7.06 am respectively at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Memorial.
Led by the Liberation War Affairs Minister, members of the martyrs’ family
and the heroic freedom fighters will place wreaths at the Intellectuals
Memorial at 7.22 am and Rayer Bazar Boddho Bhumi at 8:30 am.
From 8.30 am on the day, people of all walks of life will lay wreaths at
the Intellectual Memorial in accordance with the proper health rules.
The President and the Prime Minister will issue separate messages on the
occasion.
A special discussion will be held on the occasion of Martyred
Intellectuals Day highlighting the significance of the day.
