Two brick kilns fined Taka 25,000 in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, July 9, 2018 (BSS) – Two brick kilns were fined Taka 25,000 on
charge of cheating on consumers in the district yesterday.
A team of Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP)
conducted raids in some brick kilns situated in Ashgram and Madhupur areas
under Paba upazila.
The team, during the drive, found Azam Bricks Limited and AAA Bricks
Limited guilty and fined them Taka 5,000 and Taka 20,000 respectively. The
team also realised the fine instantly.
Apurba Adhikary, assistant director of DNCRP, said such drive against
violation of consumers’ rights will continue in future.
