Abdur Razzaque mourns death of FF Anwarul Alam
DHAKA, Dec 10, 2020 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur
Razzaque today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of
Liberation War veteran and former secretary to the government and
ambassador colonel (retd) Anwarul Alam Shaheed.
In a condolence message, he said Shaheed’s contribution to the great
Liberation War will always be remembered.
The minister said Shaheed served as diplomat with efficiency. His
death is an irreparable loss to the nation, he added.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to bereaved family.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam also expressed
deep shock and sorrow at the death of Anwarul Alam Shaheed, who was
also vice-president of Sector Commanders Forum.
Anwarul Alam Shaheed passed away this afternoon as he was being
treated at a hospital in the capital. He was 73.
