MYMENSINGH, Dec. 10, 2020 (BSS)- Sector Commander’s forum Muktijuddha 71 district and city units today formed a human chain in front of Mymensingh Press club in protest against vandalism of Bangabandhu’s sculpture in Khustia.
President of district unit and freedom fighter Syed Rafiquazzaman was in the chair.
General Secretary of district Awami league Advocate Muazzem Hossen Babul, former Muktijuddha Commander Abdur Rauf, President of City unit of forum and Freedom Fighter Akram Hossen, Secretary of City Unit Freedom Fighter Jobaer Hossen Shandhi, Senior journalist AHM Motaleb and Mukti juddaha Santan Command Shamsul Alam were among others spoke.
Speakers strongly protest the vandalism of Bangabandhu’s sculpture and demanded exemplarity punishment to the culprits involved in vandalism.
They said anti-liberation forces are hatching conspiracies and misguided the people on Bangabandhu’s sculpture issue.
They also urged all especially freedom fighters to resist the fundamentalists in united efforts.
