JAMALPUR, Dec 10, 2020 (BSS)- Health Department will launch Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in the district from December 12.
Civil Surgeon, Jamalpur Dr Pranoy Kanti Das disclosed this at a press conference at Dr Nazrul Islam hall room this afternoon.
The civil surgeon said the campaign will continue for 42 days to vaccinate a total of 575274 children aged between 9 months to 10 years.
He said all preparations have been completed to make the campaign a success.
He said due to COVID -19 pandemic, the duration of campaign will be extended from three weeks to six weeks.
