Anti-corruption Day observed in C’nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 9, 2020 (BSS)- Speakers in a virtual discussion meeting this afternoon said curbing corruption is a must for making Bangabandhu’s dream to build Sonar Bangla true.

Committee of Concerned Citizens (CCC), Chapainawabganj of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) arranged the meeting to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day with its president Advocate Saiful Islam Reza in the chair.

Principal of Nawabganj Government College Professor Dr. Shankar Kumar Kundu joined the meeting as the chief guest while Deputy Director of Women Affairs Department Sahida Akhter, Bir Muktijoddha Monimuddowla Chowdhury, President of Chapainawabganj District Press Club Jafrul Alam, President of Chapainawabganj City Press Club Sajedul Hoque Saju joined it as special guests.

Member of the CCC Mahbubur Rahman Mintu gave the welcome speech.

The speakers also asked all to fight the current COVID-19 pandemic concertedly maintaining transparency.
