PANCHAGARH, Dec 8, 2020 (BSS) – A farmers training on jute seeds production was held at Debiganj upazila parished hall room of the district here today.
Jute department under the Textiles and Jute Ministry arranged the training programme while upazila chairman Md Abdul Malek Chistee inaugurated it as the chief guest.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Prottoy Hasan presided over the function as jute development officer Md Alamgir Hossein conducted it.
Sources said the jute department has given 10-gram of jute seeds for 10 decimal of land among the 328 farmers each for demonstration plot in the upazila.
