‘No alternative to quality education’

RANGPUR, Dec 8, 2020 (BSS) – Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Commissioner Md. Abdul Alim Mahmud has said there is no alternative to proper quality education to build a developed Bangladesh to realise the people’s dream.

“Alongside flourishing their talents, students should come forward to build a Bangladesh free from corruption, terrorism, militancy and drugs,” he said while addressing a function at RpMP’s auditorium in the city on Monday afternoon as the chief guest.

The RpMP organised the function for distribution of talent pool scholarships among the talented students, who are children of the RpMP families, for their brilliant results in the PSC and JSC examinations- 2019 and SSC examinations- 2020.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters) of RpMP Md. Mahidul Islam, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Menhazul Alam and senior officials of RpMP were present.

Later, the chief guest distributed certificates, medals, scholarship money and books among 24 brilliant students of RpMP families for their brilliant results in the last PSC, JSC and SSC examinations.

He also wished the scholarship recipient brilliant students for their continuous success and brighter future.
