Magura clinches championship in Nat’l U-14 Women Football
RAJSHAHI, Dec 7, 2020 (BSS) – Magura District Team has clinched the championship title in the JFA U-14 National Women’s Football Championship- 2020.
The champion team defeated last year’s champion Rangpur district by 3-1 goals in the final match held at the Rajshahi District Liberation War Smrity Stadium this afternoon.
A total of eight teams took part in the final phase games of the championship jointly hosted by Rajshahi District Football Association and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
Rajshahi Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton distributed the trophies among the champion and runner-up teams before a large number of football fans and other spectators.
Deputy Commissioner Abdul Jalil, BFF Vice-president Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan and Rajshahi city unit general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Dablu Sarker, among others, were present at the trophy distribution ceremony.
