One killed in train-tractor collision in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, December 7, 2020 (BSS): One person was killed as a train hit a tractor near Rohonpur railway station in Chapainawabganj district today.
The deceased was identified as Nasir, 25, son of Bokul Ali of Udoynagar village under Chowdala union of Gomostapur upazila of the district.
Assistant sub-inspector of Amnura railway station Sohel Rana said, while a tractor was crossing the rail crossing at Hirupara near Rohonpur railway station at around 11am, a commuter train from Rajshahi hit the tractor killing its driver Nasir on the spot.
