DHAKA, July 8, 2018 (BSS) – NOVOAIR, one of the country’s private
airlines, today added its 6th 68-seater ATR 72-500 model aircraft to its
fleet targeting to start flight operations to Barishal.
The aircraft landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:15 PM
today, a press release said.
Novoair Managing Director Mofizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Feroz
Alam and other high officials were present at the airport to receive the new
aircraft.
NOVOAIR has planned to start flight operation in Barisal and increase
number of flights in other domestic and international routes with the new
aircraft, the release said.
Currently, NOVOAIR operates daily six flights from Dhaka to Chittagong,
four flights to Cox’s Bazar, three flights to Jessore, one flight to Sylhet,
four flights to Saidpur, one flight to Rajshahi and one flight to Kolkata.
