DU Social Science Faculty signs MoU with Robi Axiata Ltd
DHAKA, Dec 6, 2020 (BSS) – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed
between the Faculty of Social Sciences of Dhaka University and Robi Axiata
Limited today aiming to provide low cost internet services to the students of
the faculty.
Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Dr Sadeka Halim and Chief
Enterprise Business Officer of Robi Axiata Limited Adil Hossain signed the
MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the university’s Mozaffar
Ahmed Chowdhury auditorium, said a university press release.
As per the MoU, students of the faculty will be able to use 30GB internet
for 30 days at Taka 199 using Robi SIM, faculty Dean Prof Sadeka Halim told
BSS.
The faculty have already collected the students’ phone numbers and
forwarded those to Robi. Those students, who do not have Robi SIM were asked
to collect their SIM from Robi center to get the service, she added.
Chairmen of various departments under the Faculty, teachers and officials
of Robi Axiata Limited were present on the occasion.
