Motorcyclist killed in B’baria road accident
BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 6, 2020 (BSS) – A motorcyclist was killed and another injured when a tractor hit their motorcycle in Bijoynagar Upazila in the district this noon.
The deceased was identified as Helal Mia, 25, son of Ayub Khan hailed from Sarail Upazila of the district.
Khatihata Highway Thana police said the accident occurred at around 12:30 pm at Rampur intersection on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway.
The rider Helal died on the spot after his motorcycle was hit by the tractor.
Police seized the tractor but its driver fled the scene and the critically injured person identified as Basu Mia was sent to Dhaka for improved treatment.
