Anti-liberation forces hatching conspiracy over quota reform movement:
Shajahan

DHAKA, July 8, 2018 (BSS) – Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan today said
anti-liberation forces are hatching conspiracy in the name of quota reform
movement.

He said it was Jamaat’s students’ wing Islami Chatra Shibir that launched
so called quota reform movement for the first time in 2004.

“We will make lists of people who are hatching conspiracies against the
country in spite of being in government job. The anti-liberation elements
never wanted progress of the country. After the murder of Father of the
Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, they put their selected persons in
government jobs,” he said.

The minister came up with the observations while addressing a workers’
rally on Sonali Bank premises in capital’s Motijheel. Shramik Karmachari
Peshajibi Muktijoddha Samannaya Parishad organised the rally to realize their
six-point demand.

Shipping minister further said the quota system should exist for the sake
of upholding the spirit of Liberation War.

“The country is marching forward economically under the leadership of
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. We are heading towards the path of development
as we are holding trials of war criminals, eliminating militancy and fighting
against drugs. All the forces in support of our great War of Liberation will
have to get united in our fight against the conspirators,” Shahjahan Khan
added.

Later, a procession was brought out from the premises that ended at
Jatiya Press Club after parading through different streets.
