Jamalpur SA finish 3rd in Fed. Cup Women’s Handball
DHAKA, Dec 3, 2020 (BSS)- Jamalpur Sports Academy finished in third position in the 1st Federation Cup Handball competition (women’s) beating Naogaon District Sports Association (DSA) by 20-18 goals in the keenly contested place-deciding match held today at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
The winners’ however trailed the first half by 10-9 goals at the breather.
In the day’s match, Mishti Khatun was the highest scorer for Jamalpur with seven goals while Suborna Akter scored eight goals for Naogaon.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Ansar will take on Bangladesh Police Handball team in the title deciding final match scheduled to be held on Saturday (December 5) at the same venue at 11.30 am.
