COMILLA, Dec 3, 2020 (BSS) – Comilla Debidwar Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Md Jainul Abedin passed away at the age of 85 at a private hospital in Dhaka early today.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives, friends and admirers to mourn his death, Debidwar Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Haji Abul Kashem Omani told BSS.
According to his family sources, after being diagnosed with Corona, he was admitted to Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital in Dhaka on November 12.
He will be buried at the family graveyard after his namaz-e-janaza at Duaria AG Model Academy ground in his village after Asr prayers today.
Local MP Razi Mohammad Fakhrul, former MP ABM Golam Mostafa, Comilla North District Awami League President Mohammad Ruhul Amin, General Secretary Mohammad Roshan Ali Master and Upazila Awami League general Secretary Moniruzzaman Master, Debidwar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rakib Hasan, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Abul Kashem Omani, Women Vice Chairman Advocate Nazma Begum, Zilla Parishad Member Shirin Sultana, Shahjahan Sarkar, President of Upazila Secondary Teachers Association Jahangir Alam Sarkar General Secretary Mosleh Uddin and chairmen of all unions of the upazila expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Zainul Abedin.
