Police handball team move final in 1st Fed Cup Handball
DHAKA, Dec. 2, 2020 (BSS)- Bangladesh Police Handball Club moved to the final of the 1st Federation Cup Handball competition (women’s) beating Jamalpur Sports Academy by 38-13 goals in the second semifinal held today at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
The winners’ led the first half by 16-8 goals.
In the day’s match, Rubina was the highest scorer with 22 goals while Sharmin netted two goals for Jamalpur Sports Academy.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party confirmed their spot of final eliminating Naogaon DSA in the semifinal.
Meanwhile, Naogaon DSA will take on Jamalpur Sports Academy in the place-deciding match scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.30 am at the same venue.
