Condolences pour in for ICT probe wing chief coordinator Hannan Khan

DHAKA, Nov 29, 2020 (BSS) – Tributes and condolences continue to pour in for valiant freedom fighter and chief coordinator of investigation wing of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan.

Immediately after the death of Hannan Khan, President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as political leaders of Bangladesh expressed profound shock and sorrow.

Besides, in separate condolence messages, Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Haque, Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, State Minister for Water Resources Ministry Zahid Faruque, State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nesa Indira, State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Hoque Shameem mourned the death of Hannan.

They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Hannan died at Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH) today at the age of 78.
