DoE fines TK 8 lakh for cutting hills
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 29, 2020 (BSS): Department of Environment Directorate here today fined three commercial establishments Taka 8.03 lakh for cutting hills without approval.
Moazzam Hossain, director of Environment Directorate Chattogram region realized the fine from the owners of three commercial establishments after hearing today.
Earlier, a DoE team in the drive found that three commercial establishments were cutting hills indiscriminately at city’s Khulshi area and summon them for hearing.
