DHAKA, Nov 29, 2020 (BSS) – Three more matches of the 1st Federation Cup
Handball competition (women’s) were decided on the second day (Sunday) at
Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city.
At the matches, Jamalpur Sports Academy beat Tetulia Upazila Sports
Association by 33-27 goals after leading the first half by 17-14 goals,
Naogaon District Sports Association (DSA) defeated Jessore DSA by 28-7 goals
after dominating the first half by 20-2 goals and Bangladesh Police Handball
team outplayed Faridpur DSA by 32-8 goals after leading the first half by 16-
1 goals.
Meanwhile, in the remaining opening day’s matches held on Saturday
evening, Bangladesh Police Handball team outclassed Handball training center
of Dhaka by 48-7 goals after dominating the first half by 28-3 goals and
Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party overpowered Faridpur DSA by 37-6
goals after leading the first half by 15-1 goals.
