College student killed in Rajshahi road accident
RAJSHAHI, Nov 28, 2020 (BSS) – A college student was killed in a road accident in Gabtoli area under Durgapur Upazila of the district today.
Police and locals said the deceased was identified as Muhammad Ali, 17, son of Mujibur Rahman of Mongalpur area under the same upazila. He was a student of class eleven in Taherpur Degree College.
Quoting witnesses, police said Ali met the tragic road accident when he was hit by a truck from behind. He was returning to his house after selling betel leaf in a nearby market riding on bicycle at around 10 am.
Local people rushed him to the upazila health complex, where he succumbed to his injuries few minutes after admission.
An unnatural death case was recorded with Durgapur Police Station in this connection, said Hasmat Ali, Officer-in-Charge of the police station.
