Youth held with 14 gold bars in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 28, 2020 (BSS) – Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a youth with 14 gold bars worth Taka 1.43 crore from New Railway Station area under Kotwali Thana in the city on Friday night.
The arrestee was identified as Uttam Sen, 35, son of Manik Sen, hailed from Patia upazila of the district.
Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Thana Mohammad Mohsin told BSS that suspecting the movement of Uttam, police arrested him and recovered the gold bars after searching his body.
A case was filed in this connection.
