BFSF U-14 Academy Cup football to begin from Thursday
DHAKA, Nov. 28, 2020 (BSS)- The 2nd Bashundhara Kings BFSF U-14 Academy Cup football will begin from Thursday (Dec-3) at Palton ground adjoining the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city.
Nawabganj Football Academy will take on Pirganj Football Academy in the inaugural match of the fixture.
A total of twelve academy teams will compete in the nine-day-meet, organised by Bangladesh Football Supporters Forum (BFSF) and sponsored by Bashundhara Kings.
BFSF general secretary and tournament committee’s secretary Mohammad Shahadat Hossain Jubayer disclosed the details at a press conference held today at conference room of Dhaka Metropolis League Committee of BNS to provide all the details of the meet.
Tournament committee’s chairman Mohammad Iftekhar Rahman, captain of twelve participating teams, coaches, managers and other officials were present in the press conference.
The organisers said the champions will receive Taka one lac while the runners-up of the competition will get Taka fifty thousand as prize money.
Besides, best player, highest scorer, best player in position will also be awarded.
