BNP fallen down while trying to pull down govt: Dr Hasan

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 25, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister and Awami
League (AL) joint secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud today said Bangabandhu’s
daughter Sheikh Hasina has been serving the country as prime minister
for almost a decade amid threats to oust her by them.

“Some BNP leaders have said that this government should be pulled
down. They have been trying to pull us down since a month after the
formation of the government in 2009. They (BNP) have torn the rope and
fallen down while trying to pull down the government,” he added.

“When BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir talks about distorting
the history of independence, we get a smile. Those who have distorted
history year after year and decade after decade do not get these
colors on their faces,” Dr. Hasan Mahmud said.

He said that while the country is moving forward, various conspiracies
are taking place.

“Today, when the people of the country know the correct history,
they are getting angry. They want to make hero of the villain of
history, they also tried to make the headmaster of the record keeper
of school,” he added.
