Ex-FBCCI vice president Kashem seriously ill

DHAKA, July 7, 2018 (BSS) – Abul Kashem Ahmed, former first vice president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), is seriously ill.

He is now undergoing treatment at Lab Aid Hospital here in a critical condition, family sources said.

Kashem has been suffering from tumor related illness for the last one year, his son Benzir Ahmed Tito said newsmen at his office here today.

He said, “My father was admitted to different hospitals, including Apollo Hospitals in Delhi and Bangkok Hospital, for better treatment during the last year.”

He requested all to pray for his father’s early recovery.

Abul Kashem was the founder president of the Tangail Chamber of Commerce.
