NARAIL, Nov 24, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 24 women’s organisations got cheques worth Taka 7.65 lakh in the district today.
State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira distributed the cheques by attending a function through Zoom at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner.
Narail District Administration and Department of Women Affairs jointly organised the function with Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara.
District Women Affairs Officer Md Anisur Rahman, District Chairman of Jatiya Mohila Sangstha Salma Rahman Kobita and Kalia Upazila Mohila Vice-chairman Beauty Akhter were present, among others. in the function.
Women’s voluntary organisations also got cheques worth Taka 25000 to 50000 in the function.
