Russia reports 24,326 new COVID-19 cases
MOSCOW, Nov 24, 2020 (BSS/XINHUA) – Russia has confirmed 24,326 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide count to 2,138,828, the country’s COVID-19 response center said in a statement Tuesday.
Meanwhile, 23,226 patients recovered from the disease, bringing the national tally to 1,634,671.
A total of 491 new deaths were reported across the country, taking the national death toll to 37,031.
Moscow reported 5,838 new COVID-19 cases in the same period, pushing the capital’s caseload to 566,417.
So far, more than 73.3 million coronavirus tests have been conducted in Russia.
