Four more arrested in connection with 31 crude bomb rescue operation
DHAKA, Nov 22, 2020 (BSS) – A team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) detectives has arrested four more persons on Saturday in connection with 31 crude bombs recovery from Uttara police station area of the capital.
The arrestees are: Sohrab Hossain ,21, Tawhidul Islam,22, Selim Mia ,32, and Uzzal Mia ,24.
According to the police, the arrestees are FIR-named accused in a case filed with Uttara West Police Station under Explosive Substance Act following the bomb recovery.
On Friday, police recovered 31 crude bombs from an under-construction building in Uttara’s Sector-10.
On Friday, police arrested Mamun Parvez,35 and Sumon Sheikh,32 along with 31 hand grenades in a special operation in Uttara West police station area. A bomb disposal unit of police defused those later.
A case under the Explosives Act was filed with Uttara West Police Station in this connection.
