JAMALPUR, Nov 22, 2020 (BSS) – Speakers at a discussion meeting here said the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has executed various development works involving Tk over 50 thousand crore in the district.
They also stressed taking many more development works for overall uplift of the district.
Local elite of four wards of Jamalpur municipality arranged the function in the town on Saturday.
President of District Awami League (AL) Advocate Mohammad Baki Billa addressed the meeting as the chief guest with former Deputy General Manager of Sonali Bank SM Abdul Jalil in the chair.
Senior Vice President of District AL Syed Atiqur Rahman Sana, Secretary of District Jatiya Party Zakir Hossain Khan and Councilors Fazlul Haque Akanda and Zamal Pasha, among others, spoke at the meeting.
