DHAKA, Nov 20, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed
profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jatiya Shramik League President and
veteran freedom fighter Fazlul Haque Montu.
In a message of condolence, the premier said, “The contribution of Fazlul
Haque Montu to the Liberation War and establishing the rights of the
labourers will be remembered.”
She prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to the bereaved family.
Montu breathed his last around 4am while undergoing treatment at intensive
care unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU)
Hospital.
