CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 19, 2020 (BSS) – The two-day training workshop on two different issues like ‘Communication for Development’ and ‘Local Governance for Children’ concluded on Wednesday in Chapainawabganj.
Chapainawabganj district administration arranged it in association with the UNICEF at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj.
The concluding day’s inaugural function was held with the Deputy Director of Local Government (DDLG) AKM Tazkir-Uz-Zaman in the chair.
The Rangpur and Rajshahi divisional chief of UNICEF Nazibullah Hamim addressed it as the chief guest.
Among others, programme specialist of UNICEF Anwar Hossain also spoke on the occasion.
Speakers in the programme stressed on strengthening mass awareness for increasing people’s participation in development programmes for reaching millennium development goal.
They also stressed on the inclusion of the children based planning and budget in the development programmes.
The chief guest said children are the invaluable asset of the country and a good future of a country depends on preparing children as developed human resources.
