Army beat BHF red XI in President Cup hockey opener
DHAKA, Nov 18, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Army beat Bangladesh Hockey
Federation (BHF) red XI by a solitary goal in the lone inaugural match
of the President Cup Hockey competition that has begun from today at
Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium here.
BHF president and Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal
Masihuzzaman Serniabat formally inaugurated the meet as the chief
guest while Youth and Sports Ministry’s Addition Secretary Abdul Karim
was present as the special guest.
The competition is being held with the participation of five teams
in round robin format. The five teams are Bangladesh Air Force,
Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Police, BHF Red XI and BHF Green XI.
