2 held with 1,960 Yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 18, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 1,960 yaba tablets from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this afternoon.
The arrestees were identified as Md. Hossain Ali, 25 and Md. Taherul Islam, 35 both residents of Narayanpur Mondalpara under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
RAB said, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp on secret information raided Alimnagar village under Narayanpur union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila at around 3-30 pm and arrested the duo with the yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the Chapainawabganj sadar thana police and a case was recorded with the police station.
