CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 18, 2020, (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an anti-drug drive arrested seven persons on charges of taking drugs at Moharajpur in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila of the district today.
RAB said, as part of anti-drug drives an operation team of RAB-5 from Rajshahi conducted a raid at a mango orchard at Moharajpur village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila from 11 am today .
RAB during the drive also seized a substantial quantity of hemp and heroin from their possessions , the sources added.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar thana and a case was recorded with the police station in this connection.
