DHAKA, Nov 17, 2020 (BSS) – Treatment Dot Network, an e-Health
Platform, today started its journey with the promise of 24/7 treatment
facility to patients through video call.
Treatment.net has promised for providing ambulance, blood bank,
medicine, medical equipment, hospitals, clinics and intensive care
services across the country during 24/7 through video calls. The
platform will also provide advice of specialist doctors.
Prof Dr Shubhagat Chowdhury, former Professor of Chittagong Medical
College; Professor Dr Be-Nazir Ahmed and Professor Abdul Mannan spoke
on the occasion.
Professor Dr Shubhagat Chowdhury said, “Establishing such an
e-health platform like Treatment.net during coronavirus pandemic is
undoubtedly a timely decision.”
The platform will play an important role in online healthcare. “The
purpose of Treatment.network will only be achieved if we can address
this challenge and give people the opportunity to receive services at
home,” he said.
Professor Abdul Mannan said, “Treatment.net will serve as a
milestone for those who do not get the opportunity to go to the
hospital and seek medical treatment.”
Abdun Noor Tushar, Advisor, Foundation for Doctors Safety Rights and
Responsibilities; including several physicians and reporters joined
the function.
Managing Director of Treatment.network Apurba Pandit presided over
the programme.
